Shop Chef Wear for Him
Let it be known, your coveted Utility Chic aprons, shirts and jackets are being crafted with love in Massachusetts. We’re firm believers of keeping it local to ensure that personal style stays personal.
Shop Chef Wear for Her
This belief in combination of knowing you spend more time in your workwear than in pajamas, really comfortable pajamas, fuels our purpose in providing adequate, fashionable chef wear with an at home feel (around the clock). Our commitment starts with implementing ingredients of local production and eco-friendly components like super-soft 100% organic cotton.
As you know, we hold the design process exquisitely close to our hearts. It’s the backbone of Utility Chic. The meticulous attention is in full effect from start to finish in our production phase. Here’s a peek inside our local design process:
First, designing and research take stage. With our customers in mind, thorough market research is conducted, compiled and crafted into garment design sketches.
Second, is fabric selection. We hand choose multi-functional, high technology fabrics from Japan, Italy and Switzerland.
Next, we work with talented local pattern makers who bring the designs to life and ensure our fit is the best in the business.
Finally, the patterns and fabric markers are sent to our Fall River factory where we cut and sew each garment with ultimate care. This is also where each button is hand selected along with careful placement of stitching details, such as our signature bar tack.
Voila, Utility Chic made with love.
Another component in our design process is incorporating a super-soft feel to all Utility Chic wear. This is produced from 100% organic cotton, an earth conscious feature we adore. On top of being eco-friendly, it’s a characteristic you deserve.
From creating unique Utility Chic idea conceptions, the local production process, to delivery, our purpose is personal, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
